(“EGL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the ALII Leadership Assessment Platform accessible at alii.egl.ai and the ALII Leadership Estimator accessible at estimator.egl.ai (collectively, the “Services”). 1.3 Information From Your Organization
If your employer or organization enrolls you in an ALII assessment, they may provide us with your name, email address, job title, and organizational role. Your organization may also connect their HR Information System (HRIS) to our platform, which may share employee directory data including names, titles, departments, and reporting relationships.
1.4 Organizational Programs and Data Roles
When assessments are administered as part of an organizational program, EGL acts as a data processor on behalf of your organization (the data controller). Your organization determines the purposes and scope of data collection for their program. EGL processes participant data solely to deliver the assessment services contracted by your organization. Questions about how your organization uses assessment results should be directed to your organization’s program administrator.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver Assessments and Reports: Process your responses, generate leadership scores, and produce AI-generated interpretive reports.
- Generate AI Interpretations: Your assessment data is processed by artificial intelligence models to produce narrative interpretations, strengths analyses, growth area recommendations, and leadership insights.
- Provide the Estimator Service: Generate leadership effectiveness predictions and personalized AI narrative feedback based on your questionnaire responses.
- Send Communications: Deliver assessment results, reports, and account notifications via email.
- Improve Our Services: Analyze usage patterns to improve platform functionality and user experience.
- Process Payments: Facilitate transactions for paid assessment services.
- Fulfill Organizational Agreements: Deliver assessment programs to organizations that have contracted our services.
2.1 Multi-Rater Confidentiality
For multi-rater (360°) assessments, individual rater responses are kept confidential and are not disclosed to the assessment subject or their organization in individually identifiable form. Rater feedback is aggregated and presented in summary form to protect rater anonymity. EGL does not reveal which specific ratings or comments came from any individual rater. Minimum response thresholds are applied to prevent identification of individual raters through small group sizes.
3. AI Processing and Data Use
Our Services use artificial intelligence to enhance the value of leadership assessments:
- AI-Generated Interpretations: Your assessment scores are processed by AI language models (provided by Amazon Web Services through their Bedrock service) to generate narrative interpretations of your leadership profile.
- Research-Grounded Analysis: AI interpretations are informed by EGL’s proprietary leadership research library to provide evidence-based insights.
- AI-Generated Predictions: The Leadership Estimator uses AI models to predict leadership effectiveness scores and generate personalized narrative feedback.
- No Model Training: Your personal data and assessment responses are NOT used to train AI models. Data is processed for your individual results only.
- Human Oversight: AI-generated content is provided as a professional development tool and supplement to qualified practitioner guidance. It does not constitute professional psychological, medical, or employment advice.
AI-generated insights are probabilistic interpretations based on patterns in assessment data and leadership research. They should not be treated as definitive evaluations of an individual’s capabilities. Results may vary and should be considered alongside other professional development inputs and qualified practitioner guidance.
